The Venue
Our wedding day will be held entirely at the Malcolm Hotel in Canmore. Our ceremony and reception will be hosted within the Edinburgh Castle Room, with our cocktail hour held in the hall immediately outside of the ceremony and reception space. We chose The Malcolm because of its stunning mountain views and intimate wedding space.

While the bridal party braves the cold for wedding pictures, we hope our guests take advantage of the many amenities that The Malcolm has to offer. Following cocktail hour, guests are welcome to check-in to their rooms, enjoy a drink at The Stirling Grill & Lounge, cozy up at one of the hotel's outdoor fire pits, or jump into a game of pool, giant scrabble, poker, and more in the Highland Games Lounge before joining us for dinner back in the Edinburgh Castle Room.

Our Story
Our story began eight and a half years ago when we met at an end-of-year function for university in downtown Calgary. Two weeks after being introduced, we met at a local Starbucks and have been together ever since!
In 2019, we moved to Brisbane, Australia to pursue Jordan's career in medicine. Along the way, we have enjoyed exploring Australia's cities, beaches, and wineries.
One of these trips took us to North Stradbroke Island, a quiet spot off the coast of Queensland.

With champagne on the beach and the sun setting over the ocean, Jordan proposed. We toasted the next exciting chapter of our lives with our feet in the sand and a stunning ocean view. This made an already memorable trip unforgettable.
​
Like many things, COVID-19 put a pause on our wedding plans. We are grateful to finally have the opportunity to celebrate at home with those who matter most.
